Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has counselled Megacentro Industriales Sur, as borrower, in connection with a $12.8 million credit facility granted by Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP).
The advice included the negotiation of the financing documents, the modification of existing agreements related to a previous loan granted by the bank.
Thanks to this transaction, Megacentro will be able to develop the second phase of a real estate project (storage facilities) in the district of Lurin, located south of Lima.
This transaction took place in July 2022, where GRE Bocanegra I, together with Megacentro, acted as sponsors. CMS Grau acted as advisor to BCP.
Melissa Calderón and Madelaine Castro acted as in-house counsel for Credicorp, for BCP; while Diego Uribe and Fernanda Valdivia acted as in-house counsel for La Fiduciaria.
