In addition, our firm provides legal assistance in different telecommunication matters including:
- Maintaining and modification of telecommunications and radio broadcasting concessions.
- Preparation of pertinent application writs for request of radio broadcasting concessions and their transfer or amendment.
- Preparation of writ of renouncement of telecommunication concession.
- Application for the transfer of demonstrative permit of digital television, as well as provide regulatory support and operate as a liaison between our clients and the Undersecretary of Telecommunications and other regulatory authorities with jurisdiction on telecommunication matters.
Furthermore, our Telecommunications Area had a highlighted participation assisting in obtaining the required regulatory approval from the Undersecretary of Telecommunications to the Latin America’s first mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) and thereafter, provided assistance to the company in setting up its operations in Chile, including preparation and review of their contracts with providers, suppliers and clients, among others.
