Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Chile has advised the representatives of the initial purchasers in the issuance by Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile (SQM) of US$ 750,000,000 bonds at a rate of 6.500% per annum payable in 2033.
This transaction, closed on 7 November, involved the Chilean and US jurisdictions.
BofA Securities, J.P. Morgan Securities, Santander US Capital Markets acted as representatives of the Initial Purchasers, being also advised by Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York. Claro & Cia and Winston acted as local and international advisors to SQM, respectively.
PPU’s team was led by director Daniel Parodi, with support from associates María Jesús Ibáñez, Juan Ignacio Rosales, Tomás Canales.
