PPU counsels Minera Las Cenizas on Franke mine acquisition

Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has advised Minera Las Cenizas on the acquisition of 100% of Sociedad Contractual Minera Franke, owner of the Franke mine in the Antofagasta region, a Chilean mine owned by KGHM Polska Miedź.

This transaction was worth up to $50,000,000 US dollars and closed on 26 April. Baker McKenzie acted as advisor to KGHM.

Francisco Ibañez acted as in-house counsel to Minera Las Cenizas.
