His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions of private and listed companies, in which he has represented both sellers and buyers. He has advised major clients in all types of financial transactions, including debt instrument issuance programs (bonds, short-term instruments, negotiable certificate of deposit), equity issuances, medium-term syndicated loans, leasing transactions, asset securitization, among others.
In addition, in 2018 Guillermo was part of the working group in charge of the revision of the General Companies Law by request of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. Guillermo participated in two Latin Lawyer’s Deal of The Year winning advisories: Uber Peru, 2020 (regulatory category) and Navent, 2021 (M&A category, private).
