Pamela Alarcón

Partner at PPU, expert in Corporate Criminal Law. Attorney and consultant in criminal law, corporate criminal law, anti-corruption, crime prevention, compliance, corporate risk analysis, and criminal litigation. Renowned for her expertise in handling criminal-law crises within companies and for advising legal representatives, CEOs, directors and officers. She acts as criminal-law advisor on risk assessment in real estate, financial, M&A and infrastructure transactions, among others. Has extensive experience in White-Collar and Economic Crime, as well as in anti-corruption programmes and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CTF) programmes.​

​She is a founding member and a member of the Board of Directors of the Colombian Association of Integrity, Ethics and Compliance (Asociación Colombiana de Integridad, Ética y Cumplimiento – ACIEC). She trains and advises a range of companies on Corporate Governance and Best Practices, the prevention of and fight against corporate crime and corruption, and environmental criminal law, among other matters. She is recognized as a Next Generation Partner in legal rankings.​

​Lead lecturer of the Corporate Criminal Law course at Universidad del Rosario and of the postgraduate programme in Corporate Governance and Compliance at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. She is the tenured professor of the Corruption course in the LATAM Ethics and Compliance Executive Programme offered by the International Compliance Association and the Business School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, and the tenured professor of the Corporate Criminal Law course at Universidad Nuestra Señora del Rosario. Has co-authored several academic publications and books both nationally and internationally.
