Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Chile has counselled Export Development Canada, as lender, in connection with a financing of up to USD 150,000,000 to a Chilean Company (confidential), for general corporate purposes.
This transaction closed on 12 March and involved the Chilean and US (New York) jurisdictions. Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman acted as US counsel to Export Development Canada, while Urenda Reconret Orrego Dorr and Sullivan & Cromwell acted as local and US counsel to the borrower, respectively.
