PPU Chile’s transaction wins award at “Deal of the Year Awards 2023” by Latin Finance
It is with great pride that we would like to inform you that CMP’C first issuance of a green and sustainability-linked bond has received the “Corporate ESG Deal of the Year” award at the “2023 Deal of the Year Awards”, a ceremony held by the prestigious Latin Finance publication. This prize is related to the issuance by Inversiones CMPC S.A., a transaction in which Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría – Chile acted as local advisor to the underwriters.
To choose the winner, Latin Finance analyzed and evaluated the most important transactions carried out in the period between October 1st, 2022 and September 30th, 2023.
“This award fills us with pride, since we acted as local advisors to the banks BofA Securities, Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., in an international issuance by CMPC that opens new paths for green and sustainable financing” said Daniel Parodi, leading partner in the transaction.
The awards ceremony was held last night at Gotham Hall, in New York.
